Our room was spacious and charming, boasting a stunning Victorian four-poster bed that instantly made us feel like we'd stepped into a classic novel. Mornings were a treat with a fabulous breakfast that fueled our explorations of the beautiful surrounding countryside, which is ideal for cycling and canoeing-activities I adore as a marine biologist! The friendly hosts went above and beyond, making our stay comfortable while we took in the lovely garden views and even enjoyed a delightful evening on the terrace. It was the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure that I crave, whether I'm traveling solo or with friends-definitely a place I'd return to!
